In addition to our regular season where we have an eight game action packed schedule, HFL offers instructional camps and clinics. All camps and clinics are conducted by Hopkins High School Head Freshman coach, Anthony Johnson. See the page link below for further details.
Develop important, SAFE techniques and position skills.
Build GREAT TEAMMATES and BELIEVE in them.
Learn the fundamentals of the position you want to play.
Participate in individual, small group and large group team drills.
Running form and stretching exercises emphasized daily.
Campers must bring a bag lunch each day, a pair or cleats and gym shoes, water bottle, and swimming gear on the last day of camp for our Water Day!
Half day camp is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and full day camp is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This is a non-contact camp.
Your child does not have to attend Hopkins School District 270 to participate.
Camp Fees: Half Day: $100, Full Day: $150
The objective of this camp is to help our rising stars entering grades 4-8 to prepare for the upcoming season by improving their overall foot speed and quickness, core strength and stability, flexibility and mobility, overall agility, and athleticism before the first week of practice. Each player will be taught proper techniques of sport specific football training that will benefit their conditioning and performance as well as football intelligence as well.
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 3 weeks (9 sessions)
Who: Rising 4th - 8th graders
Times: 6:00pm-7:30pm for Grades 4-6, 7:00pm-8:30pm for Grades 7-8
Cost: $50/athlete for all 9 sessions
Location: Hopkins High School (Field H11, SW of Stadium, near Water Tower)
