Hello Royals Football family!

What a week! Varsity won it's homecoming game 57-50 over Park of Cottage Grove! We are on a 3 game winning streak for the first time since 2019! In the process we set two new school records ... 57 Points in a game is a new record and also 4 receiving touchdowns in one game by Jayden Moore is a new school record! Wow! Giving up 50+ points is not our standard on defense and we will fix that but I will take the win! We are looking ahead to a great game this coming Friday on the road vs Roseville! Looking forward to seeing and hearing you all there! Go Royals! The Hop vs The World!

Focused and excited,

High school team dinners generally occur the night before the varsity game.

Pregame snacks/drinks can be dropped off at team dinners or we can make separate arrangements.

Program Financial Update

Our program has both immediate and long-term needs including:

  • We are running short on quality helmets, especially for the underclassman.
  • We have plans to make significant investments in our equipment in 2024 and 2025 (Guardian Caps, uniforms and field coaching equipment) and have had to delay our purchases due to slow fundraising sales, specifically with cards.
  • Our offseason costs (lifting program, 7v7 & specialty clinics) will cost money we have yet to raise, but the training will help set up our program for years to come.

We are currently looking at a $20,000 shortfall on a re-forecasted budget. The Booster Club is working hard on fundraising and here are three ways you can contribute to our fundraising campaign.

#1 Support Your Player's Card Sales Goal

The sales goal is 20 cards per player - kudos to the players who have surpassed this goal!

We have a lot of players who are under this sales goal.  Please encourage your athlete in reaching their goal. These card sales are crucial for our program and directly benefit our team's resources and opportunities.  We have bypassed our initial investment costs and need to sell the rest of the cards to meet our budget commitments with a breakdown as follows

  • Cards Required for Budgetary Needs – 2000
  • Current Number Sold – 1011
  • Remaining Cards Needed to Sell – 900+

#2 Become an Individual or Business Sponsor

We invite parents to consider becoming individual sponsors or business sponsors for the season. Your sponsorship would greatly enhance our ability to provide the best possible experience for our players and reduce the number of fundraisers we need during the season. A special thank you to those who have already committed to our season!   Link to Sponsor or donate - https://hopkins-football-boosters.square.site/

#3 PURCHASE TICKETS TO OUR COMMUNITY EVENTS

For $15/ticket, you can enjoy some pancakes served up by our boys in blue!!  I mean, can you refuse these faces????  All proceeds benefit the Hopkins Football Program.

big thank your to our give back partners!

The Hopkins Football Boosters have worked hard to organize a number of community and give back events to help raise additional funds for the team.  Thank you to everyone who supported these businesses during our events!!
