About Hopkins Football League (HFL)

The Hopkins Football League is an entirely volunteer driven youth football league serving kids in 3rd through 8th grade.  Your child does not have to attend Hopkins School District 270 to participate. Each year we have approximately 150 players participating on more than 10 tackle football teams and we have recently added flag football to the mix. HFL regular season tackle teams participate in the Lake Minnetonka Athletic Association and play games against other area teams from Minnetonka, Wayzata, Mound, Orono, St. Louis Park, and Maple Grove.

The HFL seeks to promote the growth and development of our players in a fun, safe and competitive environment that maximizes participation and improves players' skills while developing sportsmanship, teamwork, and self-confidence.
